Bed Frame & Headboard

King bed frame and built-in full wall headboard project. The bed frame was built as two pieces- the center is one solidly glued up support structure and the exterior panels were made to be removable because it was not known whether the upholsterer would be working in shop or on site. The headboard is 4” thick plus the thickness of the padding; instead of sinking the electrical outlets, they were brought to the surface using custom plug and play junction boxes. The headboard is 3 removable panels which are hung on the wall with French cleats. Credit to Aby’s Upholstery for an outstanding sewing job, making this appear as the customer envisioned.
